Role Overview
As the Software Engineering Manager at Kenkeputa, you will lead a team of talented engineers to develop high-quality software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Operations, to ensure that our engineering efforts align with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Software Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full software development lifecycle for both B2B and B2C products, ensuring timely releases and high-quality deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and Design teams to define, scope, and prioritize features aligned with company goals.
- Technical Excellence: Implement and advocate best practices in software development, covering areas such as code quality, automated testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Architectural Decision-Making: Drive technical decisions and participate in architectural discussions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security in our products.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support the recruitment process to attract and onboard top engineering talent, fostering a diverse and skilled team.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure Kenkeputa remains competitive and innovative.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a focus on B2B and/or B2C product development.
- 2+ years in a leadership or management role within a tech company or startup.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with modern development frameworks and languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Proven Track Record:
- Successfully delivered complex software projects from concept to production.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills to inspire, guide, and motivate teams.
- Experience working in an agile environment, with the ability to adapt engineering processes for optimal team efficiency.
